Hi Guys Date applied: 02/05/2016 Council: City of Gosnells (Perth) Online/Paper: Online Acknowledgement Email: 03/05/2016 Citizenship test email:06/05//16 Citizenship Test: 09/08/16 Date of Approval: 17/10/16 Date of Ceremony: 07/12/16 I have sung Advance Australia Fair many times. But singing it on the 7th of Dec 2016 as a Citizen was very special indeed. We are grateful to this forum. Our journey was for 8 years. Thanks to all for the support.

Hi Sigh I had a similar issue. Sat for the test on 9th Aug 2016 at Perth office. Only received my letter on 10th Oct 2016!! Apparently background checks are done at random files. Should get yours soon my friend....

My visa was applied for on 4th NOV 2014. Was starting to get worried when a friend who applied on 26th Nov got Visa granted. MA advised to be patient as applications are looked on a "luck of the draw" basis. When Dec applicants started getting approvals…….i got very impatient and spoke to MA again. He agreed to write in to IMMI. Visa granted on 22 Nov 2015. This was 6 hours after he wrote in to IMMI. Coincidence?

Its been a quiet week in terms of grants............compared to last week.......... But have heard in this thread previously about grants on Saturdays.......so here is hoping some of our friends will get good news tomorrow.
